Liberty Burger Co is a Milwaukee Avenue burger house that treats the menu board like a comic book: thick crimson outlines, mustard headlines, and enough patty combinations to make your eyes water before the first bite.
We smash beef on a ripping flat top, toast buns in the beef fat, and write every price in dollars you can see from the counter. No tasting menus. No lunar metaphors. Just burgers, aggressively catalogued.
If you came for quiet fine dining, the door swings both ways. If you came to argue about cheese pulls, welcome home.
Most burger brands hide half the menu behind seasonal specials and QR codes that die. We print the obsession. Classics, cheese vault, smokehouse, spice lane, breakfast window, plant and poultry, doubles and towers, Liberty specials each named, each priced, each real.
The kitchen is loud. The outlines on this site are loud. The beef is quiet until it hits the steel. That contrast is the brand.

WHY THIS JOINT EXISTS
Liberty Burger Co started when a line cook and a sign painter argued about whether a menu could look like a comic and still feel serious about beef. They rented a counter on Milwaukee Avenue, bought a flat top that could scare a steakhouse, and started naming burgers faster than they could cook them.
The names stuck. The prices stayed honest. Locals from Logan Square to Wicker Park started quoting board items like sports stats. Tourists photographed the crimson outlines. Regulars memorized the spice lane warnings.
Today the catalogue sits north of one hundred twenty burgers. Not because more is always better, but because obsession looks like a list you can scroll until your thumb gets tired. Every item on that list can be ordered. If it cannot, it comes off the board the same day.
These six are famous. The other hundred-plus are waiting on the menu page like understudies who already know the lines.
